Babe Ruth 'Signed' Letter

Hi Friends,

A regular at my Brooklyn coffee shop told me about a family letter signed by Babe Ruth. I would have sworn it was the real deal. But not so fast.

Hi David,

I really enjoy your Forbes columns. I feel bad for your friend, but yes, it's an easy to spot secretarial for two main reasons. The R of Ruth is not shaped at all like the Babe's, and the entire autograph is signed slowly and without confidence. It doesn't flow.
