Chuck Berry autograph - real or fake?

I just bought this Chuck Berry autograph on eBay for only $65. It comes with a COA but wanted to check with you guys.

They just are not right, not to be cocky but this is what separates the experts from the collectors. It's really hard to put into words the subtle details that go into one's signature that make it real or not real. If you were in my house and we sat down and went over some Chuck Berry signatures with a laser pointer I could show you on what exactly to look for but again, to put it into words is difficult so I apologies. Only people who graph (as we say it) in person can be experts in my opinion and those folks are the best of on this site because we actually have real world field experience because we look past just the signatures them selves. We know who signs, who they sign over times, what types of items they will or will not sign etc....

Having got Chuck many times in person this and other one you posted are not even close to real. Take a look as Bjarne's, Look for the separated "C" and "H" from the "uck" in Chuck. And look for the two "r's" in Berry to kinda look like cursive s's. And look to pay a couple hundred at least for real one. Real stuff from guys like this aren't cheap. I just looked on ebay I didn't see a real one for less then $230 to $250. And those we the shortened C-Barry signatures. You might find just the signature of a junk items for less but a photo or album will be higher. Just remember that when buying autographs, cheap is usually fake.

Chuck Berry

I agree with Steiger, the original posted autograph is not real. This is what a real Chuck Berry shall look like. I got it in person. You see the difference in slant of the letters.

Ok. So you don't think its real because it doesn't have a slant? What do you think about this one? I want to get it but don't know if this one's legit either.

I agree, I don't like the second one you posted either Christopher. The letters just looks off.

I can still stand for 14 hours if I have to, but I prefer not. And it's not as cold here in Florida as it was in Sweden.

The original autograiph is not authentic. Letters oversized, spacing all wrong and it looks like those that came out of Australia a few years ago that were bad fakes. The COA is a joke - where is the contact info etc? Cheap home made COA
