Serious question, why would you ever pay £40 for that?

the book or the logo mike

Well I assume the book is cheaper without the stamp? Why pay extra to have it stamped with a logo?

i  have ordered the same book but it hasnt arrived yet.I have talked with and them and have asked them more tahn one time if it would be stamped personally by Jimmy and they said yes that he would do it on his own

I am a bit confused the book is only being stamped by the author and not signed by the author?

I think there's about a 1% chance it's stamped by the author and a 99% chance it's stamped by an intern. Either way I don't see the point. I don't mean to insult people that purchased it, but this is a bit crazy and really has nothing to do with autographs.

Wouldn't it take almost as much effort to carefully stamp as book as it would to scratch out a signature?  How could anyone prove it was stamped by him even if you have a photograph of him doing it?  It is kind of like when i was in college "Minnesota Fats" the great pool hustler was still alive he wouldn't sign autographs, but would bring out a stamp pad and stamp his signature.  At least you saw him do it.

up to a point I agree with you as stamped by a intern but being a zep fan it was  something I wanted and as far as I know the genises book are the only ones with the logo ? whats your view on the jerry lee stamped books still a autograph all be it stamped

Personally I only collect hand signed original autographs, I don't know why people would pay money for preprinted or stamped signatures, just print them yourself at that point. In any case it doesn't add additional value, so if you want the book, just buy the book without the stamp and save the money.

Personally I would consider it a novelty not an autograph.  That does not mean it has no value, and were I big fan of either Jerry or Jimmy I might want it.  I personally would not consider it an autograph unless someone takes an instrument in hand, foot or mouth and applies it to the surface of an object him or herself.

yes you are right i am Jimmy Page fan and i dont care about the value, but i wanted to know if Jimmy would stamp it with his hand and they said yes

^ this above post says it all !
