Well if it's yours you saw it signed, but it doesn't look right to me. That's what makes this field so interesting.
Item#291371098021 on eBay. autograph-house for sale. See similarity of signature here?

icollector.com auctioned this signature in 2011. Signed at roughly same time as mine. Notice the similarities here.

Some of my collection all signed at the same time in late 80's.

Maybe Roger will chime in on this signed piece.

I spent more time with this and I think I was wrong. What bothered me is that it looks cartoonish: certain letters blown out of proportion. But it's a BIG autograph, signed to look great in that section of the photo. When someone does that, proportions are often different than normal. The individual elements of the autograph look right to me.

I think it's probably real.
Good man! You're correct. All my pics are 10" x 8" not the normal autograph book or index card size. The good thing as well is that it was not a rushed signature. He took his time and looked at all of my photos with interest in the whole collection, before he signed them.
Paul Fraser collectables has stated that a good full signed photograph can be worth around £2,000 and is a very good investment. Have a look at his website.
Peace and love
Richard
Richard, I do believe you when you say you got it signed in-person. But as far as Paul Fraser's assessment of value, I think he exaggerates items' value a bit. £2,000 would be about $3,000, and I don't know many people who are going pay that kind of money for a Sir Paul autograph - yet. Maybe, sadly when he passes. I think what you got for it, about $850, is about right. It would then have about $950 in it after authentication from PSA or JSA. Anyway, do you have any more signed Paul photos?
I read Paul Frasers article of how valuable Maccas signatures are and I doubt that you would get the sort of prices he is quoting. I have got three more that I would like to sell soon as I need to raise some money due to ill health. I haven't listed any yet. Tracks in the UK have made me an offer on them yesterday but it is lower than I would expect. I have sent Paul Fraser a message with images to ask if they buy signatures or wether they just auction them?
I am selling 3. I think I will ask £799 for the Beatles one with all four. Macca on his own With Hefner bass £699 and the Robert Ellis photograph Wings era £650.
Serious offers will be considered.
