Theirs too many fakes that's the problem and that's what will keep his value high on early signatures. So I don't see a collapse..maybe on UDA items but guess the people with in persons may hold a higher standard as that's what mine are!

I don't see Jordan UDA items dropping in price, he signs a few hundred pieces a year through UDA and as you noted there are so many fakes that the genuine pieces will fetch a premium. In person I wouldn't touch as a buyer for Jordan as there is just way too much crap out there

You mean drop from retail Uda prices?
Cause if you try to resell a Uda piece you paid retail for you won't even get half

I mean from market value prices. UDA balls go for $825-1100 dependent on the ball and condition, Jerseys bottom out at $950 for an oddball jersey that no one wants and sell all day for $1100-1400 dependant on what jersey (color, LE etc).

To say you won't get "half" of retail is a bit extreme.

Actually UDAs retails have gone up, you're right, you'd probably get about half of your investment back

Nope not at all you can get them at that price every week
The last Uda ball auction style went for $510

If you got authentic UDA pieces for those prices, and it was in the last 5 years then you got the steal of the century or someone was DESPERATE to sell!

Kevin, you do realize the state of our economy? You do realize theirs tons of people that bought this stuff 20 yrs ago and now need money? So if that means feeding their kids and selling a Jordan signed ball for less than what they paid...they'll do it! Or at least any civil minded person that cares to feed their kid would. Here's some real Jordan's!
