I bought Mary Hopkin's Post Card LP locally after being told if it was fake signatures I could return them from a furniture auction store. Honestly, I'm stumped. The story goes it was from newsreader who had passed away over 10 years ago. I didn't pay a lot for the LP so I'm prepared for it being fakes. Opinions please.thanks!

This looks authentic to me.

Thank you, I was worried about the way just "Paul" was signed. The McCartney bit looked OK and so did Mary's , but the "a" and ,"L" looked a bit odd compared to other ones I looked at online, but I'm no expert.

I like it too.

Can't comment on the McCartney signature but the Mary Hopkin signature IMO is for real ...

As much as I would love for the Paul one to be real, if at least Mary's is, then I think I lucked out regardless.

Another thing to take into account they are both in the same light blue biro, also the LP cover for 'Postcard' had a very shiny surface so it's quite possible that the the pen could have slipped slightly when Paul was signing? .... As for Mary's I'm convinced it's authentic, I have been a fan since 68' and have her early signatures up to present day.

Here's one from around the same time with a similar "L". The "A" also appears consistent with authentic exemplars.

That's a good example. The "A" in Paul on my LP is still bugging me. The feedback I have been getting that if it was a forgery why would they use a Mary Hopkin's album to try and pass it off rather that one of his own solo or Beatles. I also know that this album has been signed before by both artists, yet not with the same dedications or shown identical(that I know of for now).

I'm ready to frame it!

This A looks similar I feel. I also have a Paul signed in January 1968 that doesn't look exactly like all of these but have similarites to other 1968 Paul signatures I have seen. It was signed on the front of a program by Paul and on the inside by Jane Asher. I have a Frank Caiazzo LOA and Paul Wane and Perry Cox liked it as well.

Nice item. It's good to see these examples from around the same time. Thanks for showing your pics!

Paul is authentic IMO

The "McCartney " looked to me as a fluid SIG. Looking at the how the Macca goes over the Paul slightly, I don't know if he's signed stuff when he's had to separate his last name to another line, AND it combines like this example into his first name?

Thank all for your opinions. I paid £50 for it ($75), so I knew it would be risky. It looks like some on line auctions(not all eBay) had similar items of this but the signatures and vinyl itself did not duplicate (ie, Mary wrote different dedications.
