why doesn't the seller post the photo of Lennon "signing" this specific album?  wouldn't that help him get to his magic number?

The photo is the generic photo that's on the ebay page.

then he is a liar, this is in his listing:

TO THE BUYER OF THIS RARE GEM I WILL EMAIL A PHOTO OF JOHN ACTUALLY SIGNING THIS FOR US.

He doesn't have the photo of Lennon signing this.  Just a generic photo of Lennon that's posted with the listing. He claims that is "proof" which it clearly is not.  I'd stay away from this one.

I'd stay away from this and the other one that was posted. If it is forged there doing a nice job on lennon.

This is the other one that recently turned up on ebay. The two are very similar and they seem to be getting by the dealers.

Funny. I remember Perry was auctioning this off. When I looked at his completed items, it didn't show up. I think eBay might have stopped the auction. It was originally owned by AppleBeatle and then given to Perry to auction off. He also sent Perry a signed "Imagine" album cover, which looked similar to the signatures being posted here.

So is it your opinion Fb that these are forged? I think it's strange that they turned up unounced after all these years.

I meant to say Perry auctioned the album of the photo you posted above. All I'm saying it could be a coincident. I do agree that it's strange these signatures are showing up.

I also remember seeing it in Perry's auction and I cant find it now either.
Thanks for reminding us about the image lp, another similar signature that sold yet it just turned up.
