Has anyone tried the Picture Shields inserts? They seem to be a good price and they have a discount code for collectors. I was told it's " autograph1 " for a 10% discount. UV glass is expensive and if this works I'd rather buy them.
I haven't tried their product personally, but they advertise that their products are used by the National Archives, so they probably can't be all that bad. I published an article in the February 2009 issue of the magazine which addresses the UV light damage issue, and it has several other suggested companies that produce UV-protective display materials as well.
