They don't look right at all.  That is not how their autographs appeared circa 1980.

Thanks. I have bought a few pieces from this shop but was not sure about these.

Tough era for sure, but their signatures definitely looked much more defined and neater during the first couple years of the 80s.  

He has them priced at £250 and says he got them from his usual source which he reckons has never given him fakes. Any ideas on these Jam ones? They were my 2nd option

I would save my money for some real ones. Like Richard have said, neither of these are genuine in my opinion.

U2 autographs are 100% FAKE. They did not sign like that in 1980 (or anytime!)

Both U2 and The Jam autographs are not real.
