Very surprising to hear this as they must have kept the severity of his illness quiet. My brother-in-law taught his son guitar during the last few years and told me Glenn was always very nice and didn't mind talking about the early days of the band when the country influences were more prevalent. He didn't ask for any autographs though. 

Of course this will bring out the Ebay scammers with even more fake Eagles / Glenn items up for sale. 90% of the Bowie stuff up there now is fake -- and getting decent bids too.

I am a Bowie fan sure, but the Eagles are the definition of an American Rock & Roll band.

I think this one hits about as hard as Rickman's passing.

This hasn't been a great week.
