Thank you Paul.

Great looking set up guys. My problem is I keep getting new things but don't spend the time and money to frame and display them properly.

I get all my frames at Michaels, they ALWAYS have a 40% off deal. Then I get custom mattes made at Hobby Lobby, who ALWAYS has a 40% coupon. I literally bring a piece in there, pick a matte color, and the person cuts it immediately (and recommends what size frame you'll need). The mattes are like $7 with the coupon. Then based off of their frame size recommendation, I go to Michael's and scoop a nice frame for usually $20ish after the sales.

Very easy, done in an hour, at a very cheap price compared to what it would cost if you have these places frame it for you. (I'm sorry but $150+ for a frame job is insane...)

Most of the basic black frames with the white matte I have are $9.99 at Michael's, or $6 after the coupon... Here's some examples of stuff I've done recently:

Framing/presentation is part of the fun for me. Once you figure out how easy/affordable it is by doing it yourself, I suspect you may feel the same way. If you have any questions LMK.

I like the look of those Ryan. Thanks for the heads up. What do you use to attach the items to the matte? I'll send a friend request so you can answer privately. I don't want to clog up this discussion.

I love all of the photos of each of your rooms! I like looking to get ideas for mine. Nice job on every one.

Just picked this up today.

That is certainly cool! I have had email exchange with him, but never saw his autograph. It is very pretty indeed.

I am probably going to show my age with this one, and it isn't something everyone will care about, but I love it.

I was about 10 years old when Hill Street Blues hit the air, and my addiction to tv can likely be traced back to this show.

The print was used as a TV Guide cover in 1985, and every cast member featured has signed that mount. 3 of them are no longer with us.

This one goes on the wall.

That show was a favourite of mine, too, Pete. The theme song was the only song I could play on the piano when I was a kid.

Great HSB piece!

Fantastic Hill Street Blues piece. Great show. Who did the art? I'm drawing a blank, but I suspect it's someone who also drew for Mad. Mort Drucker?

HSB and St Elsewhere are two of my 80s favorites. Loved them both.

Painted by Bruce Stark for the June 1, 1985 cover. The cast must have signed the prints closer to the end of 1985, as Veronica Hamel inscribed "Merry Christmas."

St. Elsewhere was right up there in my world too.
