That's an old PSA sticker
Autograph is authentic IMO. Not sure where your issues are coming from on this one. Sayers autograph has been very consistent for the last 20 years and this one looks dead on to me.
As Mike said, the sticker is not fake. It shows in their data base. Post your in person autos that have letter formations totally different from this one for comparison.
I noticed the "S" was atypical but I found other signed certified pack pulled football cards that showed a similar "S". Certainly, I have not studied Sayers extensively but this one looked OK to me.
I know all about Gridiron Authentic's reputation but don't automatically reject every autograph with their hologram because I think 10 years ago they were OK and that was probably when this one was signed just based on the PSA/DNA sticker that dates to at least that time frame.
Sayers autograph is just not worth enough on the secondary market to justify pushing forgeries in my opinion and certainly wasn't 10 years ago.
However, you are obviously more familiar with his autograph than me so in this case I defer to your opinion.
It is obvious that PSA/DNA did indeed authenticate the autograph in that time frame. The sticker appears to be authentic. Maybe they just trusted Gridiron Authentics at the time and rubber stamped it.
