Absolutely not genuine. And also worth noting, Freddie Mercury had never in his life ever signed a guitar. Brian and Roger have and John may have. But Freddie did not. I spoke to his personal assistant about it a few years ago. Also, this style mercury fake is pretty common. Usually sells through rareandsigned.com.

Hello again,

Alcohol should remove the signature on the guitars if they are poly finish and not nitro (should not be nitro but do a test for odd reactions); surely there is some kid who would love to buy a well priced guitar even though it most probably needs a good set up. That's gotta be better than offing /them on the range, no?

I've donated 6 or more to kids. These ones are getting range time. They're cursed buddy. I can't put that evil on a kid. :-) Gonna let that big dog eat

Also, they are just old junk guitars. Not like a 60s Strat. If that thing had Nitro lacquer I'd fall over dead of a heart attack.

Me too, they'd have to predate 1963 Fullerplast and the poly coating to be true nitro I guess, but with my luck there would be some wacky finish and then I'd be wishing I said "test a spot". Being Fender might help too! ;)
