This sold on eBay recently for the modest amount of $165 !!

I have very definite thoughts on this item but I will save them for later.

I'd like to hear what you guys think of it??

Fire away...

I know what you mean Don, it does look real, but it looks like Presley was added at a different time and the slant looks different to Elvis..

It looks kind of odd too.
Yeah...I think it's one of those autographs that could be legitimately argued forever.

I agree with that statement! Steve…

I like and hate it at the same time.

I like how you worded that Mark !!

It's a love -- hate thing...gotcha'...LOL !

As I've stated IMO I believe this to be genuine...

I sent a scan to a gentleman (not the usual suspects) who deals solely in Elvis and I received an answer from him just this morning. Here is what he said...

"Not the prettiest thing but it should be o.k. Would certainly require a look in person. Looks like it might have been signed on a back or in a palm"

Those are astute observations IMO...

As I said there are a number of things about it that are just so right that it gets a green light from me...

And if I'm right a good purchase for someone at $165 !

No offense.  For $165 its a incredible buy!

Mark

"Looks like it might have been signed on a back or in a palm"

That's what I thought re ink dispersal.

You bet Eric...

I've seen videos of Elvis signing and he would often take these "small" pieces of paper...hold them in his PALM...and then rotate them slightly...

That's why his autograph is almost always slanting upwards...

Just as an aside and only slightly on topic (sorry) please check the photo below...

It's a 22 year old Don Webster (that's me...blond hair and glasses) standing directly behind Elvis's dad...

I think I recall that.

That Elvis really has many small indications and traits.  I really tried hard to find fault, figured had to be bad. It was not - I had to say "good".
