STUDY: Jerry Lee Lewis - TTM real or not real
Steve asked me to start a new thread since some were having a lot of issues with regards to whether or not the through the mail autographs of Jerry Lee Lewis are real or not. I will post some examples of what we have been getting recently and some know in person examples. These TTM signatures are not cheap. You have to pay $50 for them to his box office box. The question is are they real or not. Roger has said that he has never seen Mr. Lewis sign this way and it looks to perfect - like a woman's signature.

This is a different, more rushed and abbreviated signature style than the other '65 contract, in which all of the letters are present, there are pen lifts between each name, and different styles of the "R".
You can see similar traits in the book signatures all these years later - two different styles of "E" in "Lee", the varying shape of the "J", differing styles of the "R", and three different ways of writing "Jerry."

Sorry - but I do not think this is the signature of Jerry Lee Lewis. I have and have had over 50 contracts of Jerry Lee Lewis (from 1964 - 1970s) and still have plenty left - various contracts (performance, Polygram and songwriter) and signed checks. NONE match the above example. Its just too neat… like a woman's hand writing.

Here is another example of a Jerry Lee signature that is not standard but I think is authentic. It is from the recent yard sale held at the Lewis Ranch.

Back from the dead...the Jerry Lee Lewis autograph debate is back. I believe it was the start of 2016 when I started a little page on the subject of JLL and the issues around his signature. I had huge plans of laying out all of the data and issues but tired of the work in short order. I thought I might get back to it at some point but never did.
I want to share with everyone what I did put together. There is some information and photos I have not previously shared. I hope it has some value to the conversation.

Good job, Chad. Interesting stuff. What do you think about drawing no. 223? Based on the JLL signatures that we've seen from Judith, it doesn't appear as though she signed it.

I'm glad you guys are finding it interesting. I enjoyed compiling the signed documents section and seeing the variety of signatures. I believe at least a few of these were owned by Mark Roberts.
On the 223, the "T" on the word "Thanks" is an exact match to the Judith "T" in the letter from 7-25-13.

I don't know when it's from, but it looks like an authentic JLL signature to me.
