We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

This video shows you how easy the new forum is to use.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Be sure to click the Follow link at the bottom of the list of discussions.

Try it...I think you'll like it.

Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

Were sorry for the derailment but we hope to be on track soon.

Jim James (of My Morning Jacket, Monsters of Folk and The New Basement Tapes) added to Newbury.

I follow Newbury and Looney Tunes on Twitter, and a lot of times you'll get signing videos or photos like the Lady Gaga one I posted earlier and this one from Jackie Evancho, showing the signed CD Newbury is offering for preorder.

Jim James signed vinyl on his website. Price is steep IMHO. the guy comes off pompous so I'm not surprised.

With all the talk about the Wilson book and other TTM services, I was wondering now if this 4 Tops item purchased thru the Universal Collectors Edition in 2004 is OK.  Anyone familiar with this company (I dont think they have offers anymore) or this item?  It is stamped and numbered on the CDs.  043/100

Got this from Premiere Collectibles. Glad they a trying to remedy the Brian Wilson fiasco.

Luckily my two were OK!
I am happy they sent the email out like they said they would. Still troubling. I think they knoe they made a big mistake.

I doubt that they made the mistake to be honest and though I wasn't one of the people that ordered, I will say I'm extremely impressed by that email - it's rare for companies to tuck tail and do the right thing.  My guess is that they were told they were getting so many signed copies which they offered for pre-order and then just shipped them out without checking each and every copy which I don't think anyone would expect them to do.  Amazon has also pre-sold signed cds which turned out to be auto pen (Kenny Rogers and Jason Aldean) but didn't send out such a great email.  So in the end, everyone gets their money back that needs to and the company did the right thing which should help ensure their reputation remains untarnished.

In the mean time, we'll be starting a new thread "The Brian Wilson Autograph Grief Support Group" shortly to help everyone with PTSD cope.  j/k :)  Glad this was resolved for everyone involved.

The run with Wilson through the store graphs seems to be over, i can say i wont be buying a book of one of the ip dealers for 3 times the amount of the store price. Its not that important.
But we need to see if the autopens roll over to these other companies.
13 of july, i paid for that pre order of brian wilson and recieved the refund 2 days ago.
