I have seen a few sets signed similar to these signatures around March 1963.

I would say early 1963...spring maybe? Lennon started using this type of "J" in around March of '63...

Did you manage to win this set? They sold recently at auction for a good price, and had aload of other autographs including the Rolling Stones and Gerry and the Pacemakers.
