Is this enough to protect an autographed Photo?

I've been thinking about how I could display and protect my autographed photos at the same time. Going through a number of ideas and thought the best thing to do would be to do what others said in the past and take a high-resolution scan of the photo and get it printed and display the reprint and keep the original in storage. I guess my question is how to store the original.

I have read mixed things about toploaders but good things about mylar bags. I don't mind the bags, but I would like something a little bit more stiff than the bag and a backboard.

Would placing the photo in the bag and the whole bag inside a toploader and then keeping the photos in an airtight box in my closet be enough?

Thanks

These are pretty good and have the support you seem to be looking for.  Hobby Lobby usually has them in stock.

I was thinking about these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KC0WLU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?i...

and I could just slip them into the toploaders I already have.

You think I should go with the Itoya?

If you have hoppy lobby nearby, just check them out and see if they might be something you like.  Michaels may carry them as well.  They also carry other types of photo sleeves.
