After studying some of their signatures for a time, I bought this from a seller with over 2,000 positive transactions on ebay and no negatives. The seller specializes in Regional Sports Memorabilia in Philadelphia.  I confirmed with the seller that it was from the 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief. Bruce's sig looks good to my eye.  JBJ signature is the shorter initials one. There is different signed item from a different seller on ebay from the same event with the shorter JBJ signature. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!  ** Also, since I am new here, I would like to add that my photo and my item is not be shared or downloaded- All Rights Reserved. Thanks again!

Hello.

Sorry, but I would only download this photo to put it in my file of "not genuine autographs".

Wait for others to chime in, but I´m very positive that theses sigs are no good. Looks like the same person signed these...but not Bruce or JBJ.

Bruce has been signing a lot since he's been on a mammoth tour. Many of my friends have gotten him in person this year.  Waiting more feedback.  Thanks for the reply!

I know only the basics about Springsteen, but that really, really doesn't look right at all.

I agree, the Bruce is not even close and definetly is bad. The bon jovi is off as well. But the Bruce is not close. HOpefully you can get a refund.

Do you mind listing the name of the seller who sold you this forgery?

Not trying to be difficult in any way, but why would the seller sell a fake - not hugely expensive- when they have 2100 positive transactions? Some of those people must have authenticated them for their collections. Since I don't normally buy my autographs, I'd appreciate thoughts on this topic as well. Maybe this has been discussed here before. Thanks!

There are a number of possibilities.  You'll see some sellers who successfully peddle nothing but forgeries on ebay and across the web.  Many of them aren't even that good, but they continue to make a killing anyway.

Another possibility is that the seller does sell some good items but isn't all that competent and got flat out duped on this one by someone's story.

Hmm - That doesn't not look like any of the Bruces I have seen him give out in the last year.  Dont know much about Bon Jovi other than he has been really difficult to get lately.  I know a dealer who worked the 12-12-12 week.  Only sigs he got were Bruce & Roger Waters.  I wouldnt trust Bon Jovi signed anything that week.  He also sells from time to time on his website, so chances are he stopped signing for free!

Feedback means nothing, all it means is a bunch of morons thought they got a great deal on a "real" autograph and the seller shipped it fast.

One other thought:  If this photo was from the 12-12-12 concert, then when was it signed by Bruce and Jon?  Bruce hasn't had any tour dates since that show, and I have no idea where Jon has been (though presumably not hanging out with Bruce).  Someone printed out a photo of Jon and Bruce gotten both of them to sign it in the month since the show, which seems like a pretty impressive feat.

Really helpful feedback! Thanks! Believe me this is why I joined this group. Many of these same thoughts have been running through my mind! I've seen Bruce perform twice this year in NJ & in Philadelphia. Since I am from NJ, I can say that there are a lot of folks who know someone who knows someone, etc. Shoot, Bruce is seen out and about at a mall about 45 mins. from me or hanging out at local shore bars, sometimes. Funny actually, I met Vinnie Lopez a couple of months ago at a lecture in Princeton that he was not speaking at. Of course, we talked got a picture & signing. It is "conceivable" that these two did sign this. It did take some time after the show for it to be listed. Not sure if that's good or bad.

Hey, Dizzy - I already posted this, but if you're looking for a signed JBJ, he's selling tour programs from his online store signed by the whole band for 60 bucks!
