I've heard even autopen wont have indentation like that
I can clearly see an indentation of the signature on the back of the photo, exactly of the signature. You can surely see the "j"
I realize signatures look the same, but for examply check out the bottom of the "s" in both. The gap in the bottom of it is soo much smaller on mine then the facsimile of yours.
This is a useful photo to demonstrate a facsimile because it shows a complete lack of "crossover" - where live ink strokes go over each other.
even the slant on the top of the "s" looks different
I appreciate you helping me out with this
Tyler, it is absolutely a facsimile and here is proof you can see. I made this for you - this is an overlay of yours and the other facsimile I found. As you can see they align 100% (I left them a little apart otherwise you'd not see anything) - this is only possible with a facsimile, which is what this is. The indent (this is not an Autopen) is from a stamp likely, and is there to make the fan who sent for it feel it is real. It is not. I know that "ink" color anywhere. I am sorry it is not the news you wanted.
ok thanks for your help, i guess i thought you meant copy like a photocopy. And i knew it was live ink and the indent was confusing me on the back
No problem. It is not live ink though - it was applied with a stamp, all at once, causing the indent on the back. These are very common for this time period. That "ink" is usually flat/non reflective.
