Am I seeing that correctly - is that an "@" symbol?  🤔

That symbol does predate the internet age, but back then it was used in accounting and finance and dis not mean "at".

That at note may have been added later. The stooges did perform at Buck Lake Ranch in 1948

it meant "at the rate of".  So that pencil handwriting is not from the 40's, probably added in the 90's as a note to place the signatures at a specific place?  the actual signatures look good to me
