It has been hit & miss for me for around 6 months now. There is an old thread about it somewhere. But for me yahoo and gmail were really spotty. So I made a new account with protonmail and that has been much better.

I noticed a quirk where I'd stopped receiving thread updates that seemed to be resolved when I cleared my browser's cache/cookies.

They went away then came back, now gone again. Very strange and frustrating :/
