The site is slow right now. We'll be back to full speed ASAP. Our apologies.

A lady in Indiana had bought a storage locker that was full of things. She said that it had a lot of bins with kid things that looked liked it hadn't been touched in a long time. When I got the ball it was deflated with dust, pet hair, and bugs on it, so I cleaned it off really well around the signatures. The ball is in excellent shape from not being touched for decades. The ball would've been signed in 1991 after their first championship, so it makes sense and it wouldn't be abnormal for them to be together to sign it at the same time. What's everyone's opinions? The letter formation, spacing, and flow of the signatures looks pretty good to me, but I'm am wanting to get it authenicated and want some more opinions before I spend the money.

MJ, Pip, Horace, Pax, and a rushed Bill Cartwright

Takes me back almost 30 years. As a teen I wrote Tex Winter a long letter saying it was my dream to own a team signed basketball. It was wishful thinking. I didnt hear back from him in the usual amount of time. The bulls ended up winning the championship after going 72-10 and a few days after the championship I received a short letter back from Tex explaining he is writing this the day after the championship, their record and some details about the season. I never did get a ball but was still blown away at the effort to make my request special. I would later get everyone's autographs individually anyways. Even by crazy luck, hes on the other side of the 3-peat but I was on the same plane as Horace grant coming home back to Chicago from LAX one year.. im 6'6" so he's not too much bigger than me but seeing him next to me, he was definitely built different. His ass was up by my stomach. I swear he didn't have a neck. His shoulders were above my eye level. Everything was solid like he had armor on under his skin. For the first time in my life I felt short and that I needed to go home and hit the gym. I can't imagine how anyone could score being defended by this dude down low.

Anyways. I got rid of my sports collection 15ish years ago and haven't looked back. I'd wait for more opinions since its hard to authenticate a ball in general but first glance did bring back memories of research back in the day. I say it has great potential but can't go further with that without brushing up my research after so many years.

That's an awesome memory! Yes they were everyone's team back then!!!
