Some will disagree with this DiMaggio style, but I don't see as much problems with the first as I do the second.  This style is pretty common, at least in my experience with DiMaggio autographs.  When I first took a look, the g's and the M all appear consistent with other authentic examples.  I looked at the g's and the M first and the g's in particular look like they were signed fast and are characteristic of the DiMaggio exemplars that I have studied before purchasing my Joe DiMaggio.  Note the sizing difference between the first g and second g, and the size of the "loop" of the g's (flat ovular looking).  Mine was ok'd by psa for my own reassurance.  Maybe the style was signed by Joe later in life, but I honestly think the first DiMaggio is a legitimate signature style.

Mine is pretty similar:

And here is the one Nicholas has to compare to:

Mike yours is one I would think is NO QUESTION authentic if I saw on eBay as well... The "gg"s are alot different IMO.

If JSA and PSA/DNA have both given it the thumbs up then I would be ok with it I guess. I still would not purchase either of these balls!

Thank you for posting these, this is the type of stuff I really enjoy on here.
