A few LP's I would like opinions on please

Hello All,

I have a few LP's that I need your opinion on.

1. The Wall - Pink Floyd. Signed by Roger, Richard, Nick, David and other supporting members. Interesting to note that it has also been signed by Gerald Scarfe, who designed the Cover

2. Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd. Signed by Roger, David, Nick, Richard

3. Traveling Wilburys. Signed by Bob, George, Tom, Jeff

4. Neil Diamond.

Please do let me have your opinion. Will really help.

Rajeev,

I hate being the bearer of bad news so much, but the autographs on at least three of your albums are definitely forgeries in my opinion. I don't know Neil Diamond, so I can't opine on it.

Your Pink Floyd album has the dreaded "PINE FLOYO" version of Nick Mason's "Pink Floyd" logo. American Royal Arts and the other notorious galleries from Florida to Arizona to Vegas to Hawaii sold these in huge numbers.
On your Traveling Wilburys album, I recognize common forgeries of George Harrison and Bob Dylan. If they're bad the others undoubtedly are too.
Besides being way off, all the autographs on your Pink Floyd "The Wall" album look like they were signed by the same person.

With any luck, the people who sell these things will eventually be arrested, convicted and sent to prison as more and more collectors realize they've been scammed and file police reports. I recommend that you do so.

I just got this reply from the person who sold the Pink Floyd - The Wall LP. A straight up guy, I believe. Had a long chat with him. He is confident of this LP and stand behind the authenticity and will give a full refund, should I choose. Please find below a reply relevant to the LP in question :

On to Pink Floyd the Wall
purchased at Brighton record fair from a father of one of the school children of islington green school , i also checked the signatures against others from that time of the Floyd .
other signatures from memory included gerald scarfe (married to jane Asher)backing vocalists Bruce Johnston (of which i have a signed beach boys lp by him )joe chemey,john joyce and others,
to say they were all done in the same hand is a surprise to me considering so many were signed for the school children of islington green school and as i also purchased beach boys lp signed by Bruce Johnston i had no reason to question its authenticity like i do with so many other signed lps

Im afraid i must agree with Steve. The Bob Dylan is definetly a forgery that i have seen numerous times. I can also speak for the David Gilmours on the two floyd albums. Those definetly did not come from Gilmour in my opinion. Sorry for the bad news but at least you can get your money back. Chris
