Hello everyone!
I am new here and have a question about Alan Rickman's autograph. I believe this piece is authentic, but I am not sure... What's your opinion?

I hope you'll be able to help me out! Thanks.

Hi, looks good to me. :-)

this look authentic to me as long as you are not paying too much for it

It was £170 ($236). What do you think? :)

thats  not too bad as long as the autograph is not too small. Its always difficult to  tell  the size of autographs when they are matted and framed

Yes, I’m still waiting for the autograph to arrive, I’ll receive it probably around next week or so. After I see it in person will be easier to identify the real size.

Here’s the whole deal :)

Michelle, Any thoughts to the date of this posted Rickman?  Most of the exemplars I have, have a straight down stroke on the m in Rickman, and the cursive n in Rickman is m and not the n in the posted item.

You have a point or several David tbh when you look  at all these Rickmans together altho this could just be a super rushed example  but the price is the right price for  a really small cut.  I have now emailed some one who owns loads of Alan Rickman sigs to ask for their opinion on it.  If I have got it wrong I  hold my hands up and apologise  unreservedly to  the poster. I will let you know as soon as I hear

Please reply on this post as soon as you have some new information about it. Thanks a lot for the help! :)

michelle, Over there careers, the autographs of celebrities tend to change. After "Harry Potter" Mr. Rickman wanted to inscribe everything, or so I have ben told. My exemplars and in person 3rd party autographs date back to his "Die Hard" movies……It is never about the price……it is always about the ink. I was not there the day the original listing's autograph was signed. If you have an opinion for and around about date of signing , I would love to include it in my exemplar library. My thanks.

It is very hard to say which year every autograph is because Alan combined his style depend on situation. I have 3 autographs from the same year and there are little differences between. All in person so I am sure they are real. :-)

Those all are authentic for sure. Not very rushed, I met Alan a few times in person and believe I have one very rushed as it was festival and he was very busy. :-)

I don’t know if this might help figure it out, but the autograph is from ebay seller Rutland Autographs LTD (eBay ID: philip0310), U.A.C.C. dealer 304 & AFTAL Dealer 075.

They have 100% feedback on eBay after 4166 reviews but when it comes to autographs idk if that means a whole lot.
