I am leaning toward more good than bad but I am not one hundred percent. As long as you follow the laws of autograph collecting, you will be fine. Depends if it's being sold or if someone gave it to you.

If it is an IP, it is very nice but something about this piece doesn't make me one hundred percent confident. As far as I know, Rickman autographs aren't overly common.

thanks for your reply.  It is being sold as one out of many ip autographs that someone collected in a hardback book about actors /actresses in England & is being auctioned in  a couple of hours.  It seems a lovely item if genuine because of all the sigs of English actors/actresses in there but .....the only other autograph that I put up got a mixed response so it is a big gamble so I suppose its better to be safe than sorry  & not bid

Since joining the cast of Potter, Rickman has been forged extensively. No forger has ever nailed it like that. That is Alan's autograph.

Oh just switched the computer on. Thanks Pete.

Alan's signature without question!

gracias
