Thoughts on this Alec Guiness?  I compared it to some examples, and it looks good in my opinion, but I'd like to hear everyone else's thoughts.  Merry Christmas and happy New Year to all!

It's authentic as long as it's not a copy.

I knew I seen this one before. This seller, out of New York, is good and the item is authentic.

Thanks Joe.  Looks like it is good, trying to learn his signature.  Happy holidays!

You are welcome. I know Alec's signature fairly well and own a number of them. I'm sure there are more on this site that also good on his signature. Merry Christmas and have a joyful New Year!

Do you happen to know the "going rate" for Guiness signatures?  I have only seen a few, and they vary drastically in price.  Some I see in the thousands (even non-Star Wars photos/index cards) and some signed photos I see for less.

Hard to tell if you would be overpaying or getting a good deal.

Of course, Star Wars signed photos of him are at a premium because he stopped signing anything related to Star Wars. Signed photos should run $500 up. Signed index cards bring more money because they can be easily matted with a Star Wars photo and bring a premium price as well. Signed letters or cards, with patience, can be found for around $150. Signed photos not related to Star Wars can be found quite reasonably, sometimes under a $100. A bargain if the pose is good with a clear signature if you ask me. The photo you have asked about is worth the asking price.

Thanks for this information! I will remember this going forward.

Very authentic!
