This signed photo is at auction and is listed as being signed at the 96 olympics. Any opinions on the signature would be appreciated.

This is a forgery.  By 1996, his Parkinson’s was pretty bad and his signature was very shaky and very small.

Thanks for taking a look Steve. I wasn’t convinced of it’s authenticity or provenance. Auction houses are becoming as hazardous as eBay nowadays.

I did wonder about Ali’s visible deterioration that was apparent during his amazing appearance at the opening ceremony. It was both tragic and uplifting to see him centre stage where he belonged.
