No intel but find it funny. Cant wait to get the full scoop. Not sure why John would be upset. He was intentionally using these authenticators because they were the only ones that would authenticate his stuff. He was sent to them directly by his supplier.  He knew the stuff he had were forgeries. He just thinks if he portrays that he bought these items with the belief that they were real will relieve him of wrong doing. 

He tested PSA, JSA and Global first with a few item. They returned were all returned as likely not genuine. Thats when he was pointed to STAT, TTA, AAU and Morales. His early junk was bought with Burczyck stickers already attatched.

Hope he goes to jail.

It wasn't leaked. I saw the actual items submitted and the results. Then it was told to me by their sports memorabilia manager herself.

Just lucky I guess. I wouldn't have told me that but he did. Once again info came from the company direct. Not leaked through any authenticator.

They invited Rick to visit, to see the entire operation in Dallas. Even paid for his flight.

received an update from a colleague who indicates that local law enforcement has directed the inquiry to the Feds for response.  Seems they are not talking, at the moment, but one knows the power of the press at times but they (feds) are not confirming nor denying.

If anyone has any information that might shed further light do PM it as I can pass it along as requested.

  I did e-mail AAFES about the pulling of these items from the Exchange Auction. I have been in contact with AAFES previously regarding these items. Curious to see if they respond this time.

 Main questions I asked them were

1. If this company was indeed selling forgeries to Soldiers, why would you allow them to pull the sports memorabilia yet continue doing business with them on their other items?

2. The company continued to assure AAFES that these items were authentic and had used all resources available to ensure that no forgeries were passed or sold to Soldiers. What proof did AAFES review that assured them of this?

3. After being warned by more then 40 differrent Soldiers as early as 2 years ago that these items were probable forgeries did you not look into this further by consulting others outside the company supplying them?

4. If indeed these items are proven forgeries, what plans are in place to notify all Soldiers who used the AAFES website to purchase these items and who or how will their money be refunded?

Rick, I hope this means that the Soldiers and their families get refunds from this PLUS damages!! I also hope it shows Morales et all. for what and WHO they are!!  The rumors are not rumors. Something big went down!! Who is next???

I hope your right Brandon. I knew the junk was fake from the start. I put a lot of time, energy and wasting personal funds trying to get them shut down from the AAFES website. Would like to see that it all paid off.

Now I am turning to trying to get AAFES to cut business ties with the company all together. I'd like to see AlwayAtAuction's and John House's pockets a little lighter. Company is shady with no values.

Ive never even heard of this company.  Did they have Google ad word searches or advertise in newspapers?  John House's name seems familiar to me.  Did he used to own a gallery in New Orleans?

They are an auction company that advertised all over the internet. Home of the $14 signed Mantle 8 x 10's. They claim to have purchased a warehouse full of old scoreboard inventory when he was actually being supplied by out of business memorabilia dealers from Jersey, Florida and California who had leftover stocks of crap mainly consisting of Mantle, Williams, Dimaggio, Ali, Billy Martin, Sandy Koufax, poor quality 500HR club stuff, multi signed items and Mickey Mantle signed hats like you see earlier in this thread. Occasionally Jordon and Woods items popped up.

I don't believe he ever owned a gallery in New Orleans. He is from Northern California.
