Thank you again for your comments and direction Franklin, Eric, Richard and BallroomDays67.  I found the below example in the R&R Auction archives where the flourish is above the signature.  As noted, this appears to be atypical but this signature seems pretty close to my original post.

Let me know if this clarifies or confuses opinions.  Thank you all for your help as I continue to learn and better use available resources.
