Hey, guys, I’m wondering if anyone who knows more than me (I’m not an expert on COA’s) can go to eBay and check out “clintmagnum78.” He’s supposedly been on eBay since 2016. According to dozens of comments I’ve read here, this seller is potentially selling questionable items. Many of his COA’s are from “Red Carpet Authenticators,” “Heritage Authentication,” “In-Person Authentication,” and “COAPros” (who I’ve never heard of). This seller does sell some items with legitimate COA’s (JSA, for example).
There are many experts on this site and I would ask one of you to please check out this seller and the COA’s he has for many of his item. Again, from what I’ve read on this website, the authentication companies listed above are completely illegitimate. (Many of his items are graded and slab from “5-Star Authentication.” I wasn’t sure about 5-Star, but many of the slab cards I’ve purchased on eBay have been similarly authenticated by JSA, so I’m not sure about 5-Star. Maybe someone here can guide me).
If anyone wants to check out “clintmagnum78” and offer an opinion, I’m sure there are others here beside myself who would interested in what you find.
