Not sure if this question has been addressed before. I have not heard that Harrison ever used a secretary or another authorized person to sign autograph requests. That leads me to inquire; is a Ford autograph either authentic or a fake?

The majority of TTM Ford pieces are stamped or preprinted. There are some pieces from early in his career 1970's that have no duplicates and can only be explained as secretarial signings.

There have also been very early authentic signings TTM 1970's and early 80's and then again in the last decade.

There is no absolute yes or no answers to your question.

Hi,

The Ford signature I posted previously (see here again) was obtained TTM in the late 1970's when I was a kid.  I heard nothing for 2 whole years and had completely given up hope when it dropped through my letterbox one day.  No note, just a signed slip of paper.  Fabulous!

Outstanding signature, David! Congratulations!

Thanks, Pete. I was hoping for a "no known secretarial" examples. I would assume the difference is obvious enough to pick up. I also hope someday we will see a secretarial example listed here for future reference.

That is a known secretarial from the 70's.

and this type hit the markets pretty hard in the late 80's and 90's.....no known forger has been attached to them, and some long gone dealers claimed they were TTM.

Thanks, Pete. I've seen the top one before and thought it as a forgery. I asked you about it before. The bottom one is obvious; at least to my eyes. Appreciate you sharing.
