I wish that we could get all the experts together and find out WHAT is going on with the Obama signature issue. JSA authenticated autographs that are called not good on here.

Is there someone signing for the President at these events in the back? etc.. Are all the signatures posted here that are authenticated by JSA REAL??

It would be VERY VERY helpful and hopefully stop the spread of non-genuine signatures of the President if we could come together and figure out just what is going on. By the time a lot of this stuff gets out there and the prices right now are high - it will be too late. We have seen this happen.

Steve - could we get JSA, PSA, etc.. all the experts to investigate or post on here their theories. It would really help the collector community and save a lot of headache in the future when the truth is discovered. Which is why I look to this forum and believe in this site!

Talked with JSA today at a card show about the discussion on here with regards to the Obamas that JSA has authenticated. He said that he believes that Obama is signing all the items that are being taken to the back during his various campaign stops. He said that there were some conspiracy theories that one certain person - I forgot the name he said - was "suspected" doing all the signing - but the person who was named was not on the trail with Obama this time and that the Obamas are all very consistent from the last campaign with this one.

I emailed James spence at jsa all the concerns on here with regards to the rolling stone cover originally posted. He was very quick to respond back to me and wanted to know exactly what issues people have as far as it not being good.

I think Jimmy Spence deserves two big thumbs up for responding to you personally about the Obamas and wanting to know why some of us don't like them.

I am jammed with the Tompkins & Bush Michael Jackson forgeries and some urgent matters and I'd like to really sit down and study these more and do some comparisons with what others got on the 2012 campaign trail. I want to make sure I'm not panning these for legit characteristics that weren't there before. I don't think so, but I need to make sure. Would you mind giving me a few days to get it done?

I was very surprised that he responded to me with in 2 hours on a Sunday. He wants input, which is really cool.

What ever you can do Steve - I think in the long run this will help out A LOT of collectors and not just me.

If anyone thinks that the President of the United States has the time (or desire) to sign every item handed to aides at every campaign stop...I have a bridge to offer you. And almost all of the signature posted here are from poor to semi-passable fakes...
