Arguing these isn't productive. Doing a study is. From what I've seen, the ones does in public are generally much simpler, with the "b" of Obama being a line generally through the "O".

At this point, these magazines, photos, etc. that have the hook at the bottom of the "b" of Obama and don't go through the "O", and have detail in "arack", don't look like typical in public Obama autographs to me. If they were only occasional ones, they probably would have never caught my attention. But all of yours have them, and you said you got them in public, so it doesn't add up to me at this time. Maybe it will later.

Right, but it's clear you haven't done enough research on any of this.  Making broad statements, like you and Bill made are the statements that have been counterproductive in all of this.  If you look at the examples I posted of those notes, it is clear that his signature has evolved where it is more complex and shows the dash at the end of the B (the letter written in response to a letter sent to the WH even shows it).  Here is another example with handwriting that I have received In-Person:

WHEN THE STUFF GOES TO THE BACK AT THESE EVENTS, HE SITS AT A TABLE AND SIGNS IT!! HE DOESNT SIGN THAT MUCH THO, ONLY 50 OR SO FROM EACH EVENT MAKE IT TO THE BACK!! GREAT JOB NICK!!!

Very interesting.. I can see your point. Nick.  

I personally have an Obama signature that is just like the example of the card signed in 2011 and I have an example of the 2012 that Nick has been posting.  Trust me - I am hoping that BOTH are 100% authentic.

Just an FYI, his slash at the end of the B is not a new phenomenon.  It is featured in a lot of his older signatures.  Notice at the end of the B, the quick slash into the rest of his "Barack."

Mark,

I don't question the ones Nick posted as examples of ones similar to his. I question the quantity and style of the ones he supposedly got on the campaign trail.

Look at the index cards we saw signed in the video yesterday. That's what most campaign trail Obama autographs I've seen look like. Not what Nick has. Something similar in Rock would be McCartney signing a half dozen full autographs for one person. Just doesn't add up.
