I read that early in career, Joan Crawford signed all her own letters and photographs. She felt she owe it to her fans. However, as her fame grew, it became impossible for her to sign all requests, except for special requests.

Just wondering if any celebrity who insisted on signing his/her own letters and/or photographs?
