Paid for the PSA quick peek and it came back "Likely not authentic" but they don't say why they think that.

Another thing I noticed on the ball. If you look at the line to the right of the d in Sanders, he keeps the line connected as it reaches its farthest point to the right and then starts back to the left. On my ball, the upper portion of the line stops and then the lower portion of the line starts, but is not connected. You can clearly see ( at least in person the marker stop and then start. It misses the top line a little. Every Sanders signed item I have seen, the line curves when it comes back and stays connected.

This is a 49ers helmet signed by Montana, Rice, Craig, Clark, and Taylor that I got.  It came with a  Gridiron Authentics COA.  I have compared the Montana to some others I have and it looks good to me.  I cannot say on the others as I do not have any to compare to.

TW, Thanks for posting this helmet, These are actually big selling items for Gridiron as they have sold thousands of these same helmets over the past couple of years.

I will post a couple of photo's of the 2 main signatures on this helmet (Montana and Rice) for you to compare yours too. Both of these signatures were obtained in person and you can see the signatures on both do not line up. The main give away on the Montana are the "M" and the ending of Montana and the height of the loops as well as the slant. Also notice the "B" in Bowl as they are off as well. I am not saying this is not a good attempt at Montanas signature but it's no good to say the least.

Here is a Jerry Rice Football. I don't really have to say much about this signature because you will see for yourself the obvious mistakes.

I hope these images help you out, I would much rather you come to your own conclussion on these for the sake of you having piece of mind that what you have is good or not good but if you look at the discusion here on Gridiron I think you can see there is a problem with that company and anything from them should be considered suspect at best..

Great thread guys. I've always been under the impression that Gridiron Authentics was legit. This is the first thread I’ve come across with legitimate complaints about them. I have purchased 2 items from them off Ebay, although as a general rule I collect in person or only buy if the items have a JSA or PSA cert.

I agree that the volume of items they sell from individual players is disconcerting, and I don’t like how they use stock photos on all their listing and generic photo certifications for their items.

However I personally just had my Jr. Seau Chargers mini helmet that I purchased from Gridiron pass PSA authentication today.

This is my personal experience and by no means an endorsement of all Gridiron Authentics stuff. But obviously they do sell some legit stuff if mine passed PSA.

I think one of their biggest problems is they never change there listing verbage or photos. For instance, I find it hard to believe that Jr. Seau only did one signing as it’s well known he had money issues before he died.

Ryan, can u post the mini with the Gridiron & PSA/DNA certs visible along with the Seau signature?

Here you go-

Can you show the back of the helmet with the Gridiron hologram and the PSA hologram in the same frame??

Do you not believe me or something?

What's important is since this thread can be used for other reviews it's important to have full visuals and documentation to eliminate any questions down the road.

Ryan I never said I did'nt believe you, I simply asked if you can show the helmet with both holograms. With all of the talk and proof about items being rejected by both PSA and JSA I think it is also good to show an item that has actually been authenticated with documentation (such as the 2 holograms) shown since these may be far and few between.

A little immature to compare the helmet against one signature. There seems to be a lot of that going on these days.

Not to mention its irresponsible to compare the signature on a football against the. Signature on a helmet. Surely I don't need to list the reasons why.

I'm like Steve, I have never heard of anyone questioning the Celebrity Authentics wares. This is interesting. This company obviously has had many documented signings. I'm sure that they will react to PSA, JSA, & whoever else is questioning them. It will be interesting to see how they spin everything

Since this is both immature and irresponsible can you find 1 just 1 Authentic Tom Brady signature that looks like the one shown below. While you're at it can you match any of the other signatures listed in this entire thread to authentic signatures?

I think what is immature is the fact that you would comment on a subject where there is well documented proof that what this company is selling is pure junk. They have gotten away with it for way too long now.

I would like to see these "many documented signings" you speak of, I highly doubt Tom Brady is going to sign thousands of items for Gridiron authentics when he has an exclusive contract and has had one for many many years now. Go to any of the major signings and let us know if you see Gridiron anywhere in the building. This company has been forwarded this thread several times and they have not yet been seen, I too would love to see how they react to the fact that PSA and JSA has rejected their junk.
