Style is similar to his early autograph but the letter formation looks slightly off to me. I have studied Mantle's signature and feel pretty comfortable with his later autographs but admit I don't see that many authenticated examples of his early 50's signature so this could well be authentic.

Wait for others to chime in.

I know it has been listed on Ebay for a while for a grand with no takers so I assume you have it for sale on there. It really needs to be authenticated to get any decent money for it but a grand is possible if authenticated by JSA or PSA/DNA IMO. It is an early 50's era image of Mickey although an irregular cut down version.

Yeah I posted on there to get a PSA QO but they came back with " unable to render a opinion" I think I will send it in

Likely Authentic IMO. Here are some other examples from 1951:

But yes, for a piece like this there is no way you will get 1k for it uncertified. If JSA or PSA/DNA you might get $500.

I think its good myself. as for a price I just thru it up there to get a QO. I may try it again to see if they will give me a opinion this time

I see you found the right PSA/DNA quick opinion expert to get a "Likely Genuine" response.

Unfortunately, that does not give me much confidence in their "Quick Opinion" process. You would think they would at least flag items they initially failed to render an opinion on so they would not later opine "Likely Genuine" or "Likely not Genuine."

It will be worth a lot more with a full LOA on Ebay but it will get a fair amount of interest with just the "Likely Genuine" opinion.
