Are these NHL autographs real?

Hey guys!

My wife got me a couple of signed pucks of some of my favorite hockey players (I am a huge Montreal Canadiens fan). She ordered them from SportsMemorabilia.com.....I googled them and I am a bit concerned. Could you guys take a look at these and tell me if they are legit? The players are Patrick Roy, Guy Carbonneau, and John Leclair.

They look authentic to me. I have multiple signatures from each of these players and yours look legit by comparison. I checked their website and their NHL autographs look good, although I did not look at them all.

For NHL autographs, I would (as a new collector) first start by purchasing cards that were signed by the players under contract and inserted into packs of trading cards. These autographs are plentiful, and are almost certainly going to be 100% authentic. This will also give you some in-hand examples of authentic signatures to use when purchasing other signed items. PSA/DNA rarely makes mistakes with NHL autographs, so buying an item they have certified is a good way to reduce the chance of ending up with a forgery. At this point, I would not buy anything certified by JSA. There are websites which feature items signed by players at scheduled signings, including Frozen Pond in Toronto. These items are also most likely to be authentic.

Also, many players, including Wayne Gretzky and Bobby Orr, have signed items for sale through their own companies (Orr items are sold by his family's business Great North Road).

A lot of NHL players actually sign through the mail, including Carbonneau (Gretzky's staff sends autopen signatures, so save your stamps).
