I am trying to see if this Marc Chagall Lithograph and his signature are real  and if the Certificate of Authenticity is legit signed by Herman Darvick. and possible value of the lithograph which is 12 by 18

I believe the lithograph is titled "Snaring Birds' but it is titled "The Orchard" on the Certificate so I am a bit confused on that

Mr. Darvick has an excellent reputation and is a member here - perhaps leave a message on his wall? Better larger photographs would also help.

ok thanks, new to the site, how do i find Mr. Darvick's wall?

Hello,

Find "Members" tab in blue bar above this and below "Autograph Live" logo. Click this, and then enter members name in search box provided on Members page - find member - click his name to go to his page and then scroll down and leave comment/message.

I would need to see a close up of the signature. Chagall has been heavily forged over the years. Most appear in crayon and or pencil. The main sign of the fake signatures is where the 'g' in Chagall joins the a and ll. Mostly Chagall kept these separate.

From what I can see in the image, this looks right.

Well it indicates it is in crayon from the certification on the back by Herman Darvick, I will to get a close up of the signature and reply back to you.

thanks

Here is a clearer picture of the signature

thanks so much for your help

Rick
