I'm confused. Is you seller telling you his dad obtained the items himself or just that he knows paint pens existed back then?

This is the chap that buys from auctions. I bought this 18 months ago so I’m going to have to search for the message.

I’m just cautious again liable claims ) I’m a lawyer so alway cautious

So again, I'm not sure what to make of his messages. Hes saying his dad worked for IBM in the early 80s and he knows where the pen is from but that these items he knows were signed betwen 83 and 85. So....is he saying his father obtained them in person or is he saying he just knows the pens existed back then and that his dad bought them around that time?

The date doesn't check out either because freddie didnt start signing with those looped Ds until 1987.

I understand what you are saying here. I just want to show you that they came from two different sellers. I’ll find the messages from the other seller and post. Enjoy your holiday.

I see, thanks

I'm actually just catching up on all the messages now. My wife wanted me up at 5 this morning to get started on the day and here it is 6, surprise surprise- she's not ready yet lol.

Well.... I  think that one is not real at all!!! Be careful.

Thanks Fran. It’s from a very reputable AFTAL and UCCA dealer. This is on the back.

That reputable dealer should be also very careful with the things he buys. Aftal and ucca mean nothing as you can see...

Hate to chip in uninvited but that Bowie in the 3rd picture under the Queen inner sleeve for Night at the Opera on Let's Dance is definitely not real either...

Oh Mark you have good eye, I did not notice Bowie in the picture. :-)
