My wife called me an "autographaholic" this morning.  Is anyone else suffering from this illness?  Perhaps we should create a support group.

I was really tested today.  Eric Davis, Dale Murphy and Andy Van Slyke were signing autographs when I visited the Steiner Sports Store.  I simply browsed around the store a little bit, and then I exited the store without purchasing anything.  It was a big step.

In all honesty, I had no idea that they were going to be there.  If I did, I would have brought my 1988 Topps Eric Davis, Dale Murphy and Andy Van Slyke baseball cards with me for them to sign.  They were each charging $29 for an autograph.  I am very upset about missing the opportunity.

did they have anything to sign with them at a reasonable price?

They were supplying 8x10 photos and baseballs, but I do not know how much the store was charging additionally for them.  I doubt that the store was supplying them for free.

After my trip to the Steiner Sports Store, I headed over to Hofstra University to have Ron Darling autograph my 1988 Topps Ron Darling baseball card at Little Hofstra.  He was charging $25.  8x10 photos were being sold for an additional $5.  I was curious, so I asked.  I did not ask how much the baseballs were being sold for.  There was nobody else on line.  I was in and out of the card show in five minutes.

it is alwaysfun just to see who you might get ttm  or in person! the thrill of the hunt!

Enjoy the hunt Robert.
