Real. Late 60’s to early 70’s signature.

I'm probably just being picky, but I'd like to see the B-tops start further left over the B-back's downstroke rather than having those little spaces. I'd also like to see the i dotted even if only lightly, the top of the g tighter when coming over, and the bottom loop of the g being fatter/wider. It could be real though.

Any others to see from the same source? The old menu is fun.

This is one of my vintage signatures. Most of B’s signatures from 60’s - early 70’s didn’t have the downstrokes in the B.B. they appeared later.

I meant how the top of each B is open, but your sample is this way also. I like yours but still dislike the OP a little. The g bottom not being bigger/wider and the lack of a dot for the i are still bothersome to me. Also I feel like it lacks his usual speed.

Again though, I could be real, and I may be just being picky.

I definitely need to expand my *vintage* B.B samples. Thank you for sharing the inscribed one!

I like the fact that it is on an old Soul Food Menu! Makes me want some rite now!

I saw the ad for this sale and it mentions it is laminated?

For the price they are offering ($300), I don’t think it is worth it, even for a vintage signature.
