Babe Ruth auto collectors

Just wanted to hear peoples opinions on whether or not theyd personally purchase a authenticated babe ruth auto knowing the amount of fakes that have been authenticated as genuine? Ive owned a couple but never felt fully secure about it eventhough they were both authenticated by either psa or jsa. Ive been reading numerous articles about the growing problem with autos and it definintley makes me on guard about purchasing one

I have bought and sold them and would again if a full pictured letter of authenticity from either JSA or PSA/DNA was included.

Have they made any mistakes on Ruth? Probably.  However,  having their full LOA provides a fairly high level of assurance in the autograph.

Having a full pictured LOA from both of them on the same autograph provides even more reliability since they are competitors and would like nothing better than to discredit their competition.

If I personally felt pretty strongly about a particular Babe Ruth autograph, AND it was authenticated by PSA/DNA or JSA, I would confidently buy it. However just because an autograph was certified by one of those TPAs, does not mean I would have no reservations about a possible purchase. It would have to pass my eye test as well.
