Here is another Babe Ruth signed photo that sold on eBay for $2,200 in open bidding. I think it would have sold for much more if it had been authenticated. Some people I'm sure we're hesitant since there was no LOA. The seller said that it had been in the family since 1928 when it was signed for Mr, Baxter. He said his great uncle was Bennie Baxter who was friends with the Babe. It looks authentic to me. I think it was a steal at that price IMO. What do you think?

I love how cool old ink looks on a vintage item! You just can't reproduce anything like a truely aged ink wow!
Yes, it does look nice. I too love that old blue fountain pen ink. I think this is a beautiful inscription and autograph. And you have to love the Babe's wife beater! Glad he wasn't one though!
Hopefully we will hear from the vintage ruth experts out there!
I wonder what this would have sold for back in say 1948? I think this guy got a hell of a price if genuine.
