Bad Jimmy Carter signed baseballs with PSA/DNA and JSA LOAs on Iconic Auctions

Did anyone else cringe when they saw the 2 Jimmy Carter signed baseballs up for auction in the latest Iconic Auctions September listing?   The first baseball is signed JCarter and is authenticated by PSA/DNA.  It is a common Carter BB forgery, which used to sell on E-bay, which originates out of New Jersey.  The second forgery is a full name Jimmy Carter, which is authenticated by JSA.   How this passed authentication is beyond me.  Anyone else have comments?

The transition from the J to the C looks terrible in the first one. Plus, the "er" doesn't look good either. And that big semi-looping C in the second looks much too large.

I once went to a book-signing President Carter held. Near the end of the event, a guy dumped about 10 baseballs on the table and asked the president if he would sign them. Of course, the ever-kind Mr. Carter did so. I'm pretty sure, though, that they weren't for family members!

On the first one, yes the transition is bad.  Additionally,  the first r drops vertically, where authentic Carters have the r leading into the t.   The er in Carter also typically drops, not showing this aytpical end.  On the second one, yes, the semi-looping C is crazy.   I've gotten hundreds of Carters in person (he's done so many book signings over the years) and never seen anything remotely similar to that.

Carter has been so generous over the years with his autograph, making it possible for many people to get a real presidential autograph at an affordable price. IMO, he is one of the greatest, most honest good men to ever occupy the White House. Of course, I said one of the greatest men, not necessarily one of the greatest presidents, yet many things occurred during his presidency that were probably beyond his control.
