Forget the JSA letter, I'm not trying to trash anyone. But look at the actual signature.  Does anything look strange to you?

It looks like a child wrote it as well as being oddly spaced for Obama.

Steve, why does this discussion show up 6 times?  I didn't do anything differently. can you please delete them? or can I delete them?

Not sure what happened. I'll delete them.

I only found it once. Are you still getting six of them?

No, after I posted it, I figured out how to delete them myself!

That is absolutely the worst, most pathetic Obama signature I have ever seen offered anywhere. Period. How any so-called expert could pronounce it authentic is beyond the realm of human comprehension.

I see that the eBay seller sells tons of baseball autographs so I'd postulate that this could be an "automatic approval" of the type we see so often.

Further proof that this hobby has turned to sheet.

Agreed Bill Panagopulos!

Here's a closeup of the ball:

I think it's probably real.

Yeah, they REALLY need to explain themselves on this one.

People will think im crazy for this, but i think it actually may be good. It is definetly not the typical Obama, but i was at a rally when Obama was first running and my friend got 2 baseballs signed, because thats all he had in the trunk of his car. And one looked very similar to this. It looked sloppy, and to be honest i would have thought it was a poor attempt at a forgery, but i watched him sign it, so i dont know what to think. I cant say for sure, but i cant write it off for looking like crap, b/c the one i saw signed looked similar to this. Oddly enough the second ball looked quite neat. And the looser wouldnt even give me the crappy looking one, lol. But ill trust your judgement more than mine, as my story im sure is the minority.

Maybe you're right, but how does JSA confidently certify this as genuine when any given fourth grader can duplicate this with ease?
