Could it be printed?

I was thinking stamp. Not sure the technology would have worked for preprinting on this (letter dated 1947). But, yeah, doesn’t look “live.”

Autopens were available by 1937., with the first commercially successful model being sold in 1942. It was designed by Robert M. De Shazo of the International Autopen Company. Was it used here?

"Bette Davis 1940's" is the common secretarial. The ink on the Orson Welles appears a problem. The "Joan Crawford" is a forgery. I would not bother to look further.
