Here is a typical looking D on mattingly . I would go over why every graph is not good but it would take forever.

Thank you all for looking at these signed photographs posted by Steve Cyrkin. I must say that we have some very good eyes and knowledge on AML.
All of these signed photos are forgeries, but I would say that most are pretty well done forgeries. These signed photos are just a small part of over 400 signed photos that have been recently submitted to P.A.A.S. for autograph authentication. The autographed photos submitted consisted of mostly Football, Basketball, Hockey, Tennis, Boxing and Baseball. The major difference from a majority of known forgeries was the use of top quality licensed photographs. I will be listing many more examples from this group that is selling a large volume of these signed photos on eBay and to dealers within the US. The sellers are located outside of the United States and have had many of these photos already authenticated by well known and trusted 3rd party authentication companies.
I wanted to get the public familiar with the images as well of the autograph styles being used by this group. The other issue is and once again I am in no way criticizing any of the other Autograph Authentication companies, I know for sure that these signed photos have been authenticated in the past by all of the top authentication companies including my own company P.A.A.S.
I have recently turned down over 400 of these signed photos after weeks of research. I know that they are now on there way of already in the hands of other autograph authenticators. I just wanted to reach out and share my thoughts and share exemplars so we can try to all work together to stop these photos from getting sold to collectors and to fans especially now during the holiday buying season. Much more to come shortly including exemplars and the ebay sellers names being used. Thank you for your time and thank you to Steve Cyrkin for getting this discussion off the ground.

Mike, using a surrogate these days, eh?  although I'd have agita with this set of eyes... if baseball authentication, as claimed is real.

Reply by Kenny Sweitzer, Jr. 14 hours ago  I do authenticate baseball.  All but one look very good. I would give my opinion that they are all authentic except the Cal Ripken is undetermined.   T.A.E.

Who are the ebay accounts that are selling these?

Surrogate. Ha! Nice!!!
I dont think you need weeks of research to tell those are all bad . Give them to any person who collects in person graphs during spring training and they would
tell you they are bad . All the autographs are not close .
Are the examplars you used to determine they are fake , ones you got yourself .
It did not take weeks to realize that the signatures were not authentic. The weeks and I am not finished yet was to investigate the sellers and the names they are selling under and were they are unloading the product. Some of the signatures are much better then others and many of the signed photos are claimed to have been obtained from private signings not in person spring training signatures. I have even forward some to a company that did the private signing and they thought the signature was authentic. It is not as easy as you think when it is a business and you have the pressure of not making a mistake and going against other authentictors facing you. Can you let me know what you think of these two signed photos?

No good.

I dont know how the people doing the signings think these items even had a chance of being authentic.  They should put stickers on the items if they do the signings.

Part of collecting a fee for authenticating is taking flak for your mess ups or supposed errors . Everyone is human and ,istakes are made. Learn from them and go about it professionally and everything should be fine . I am not a expert by any means. I buy and sell . I ve messed up . Ive bought bad autographs and had to throw them away when the person disappears after them being called out . Or the person doesnt recognize Psa ,Jsa, Global as a reliable authenticator. Its all part of this business I guess. Good Job man !! Hopefully you find out all you need to know on this matter.

I promise my intentions are not to embarrass anyone and I just want to show what is going on in the industry. I also would like to let everyone know that being an autograph authenticator is not as easy as it looks. Mistakes are made but I know that most authenticators spend much more time on signatures just to make sure they did not make a mistake. There are also the pressures I mentioned before about going against another prominent and honest authentication company. I also felt the signatures were not authentic and with the weeks of research and investigation work I was sure about them not being authentic. Can you please look at the attached scans once again and see what I am dealing with.

No problem Mike . I am on my iphone. I gotta wait to get home to see the images . They dont show up for some reason.

No Surrogate yet,   I am sorry but I was away from my computer and I have been really busy. I did not think we had time to waste, I wanted some of the images up before they get authenticated. There are many others and I will be getting them up as soon as I can. I will also list the sellers but I do not want them to remove the items yet.

I dont get what is going on . These forgeries are out of Japan . Why did Cyrkin post the inages , but now Frost is the one saying he put them up .
Also Mike Can you post some photos with these items authenticated by the major authentication company . I want to see if they are from the same guys .

It seemed these past thru a few eyes here on Aml .

Anthony, I am sorry for the misunderstanding. I never said I posted the images. These items were submitted to P.A.A.S. about 3 weeks ago. I sent images off to a number of people in the industry. I was looking for additional information and input, so I asked Steve to please post them while I was away. I have not mentioned Japan anywhere on this blog and I do not want to point out any authentication company because I do not want this once again to become an anti 3rd party authenticator issue. There are many additional images I just wanted to show the Yankees and some of the most recognized 1st.
