Oh ok. Im just trying to understand whats going on . Thanks for clarifying .

Anthony,

Sometimes I post images for others that want to make sure the opinions are unbiased or don't want their names known (like a customer sold forgeries by a dealer).

In Mike's case, he's understandably looked at suspiciously here by many people, but I feel that he has seen the light. I am not recommending PAAS authentication, but I am very interested in seeing what their quality looks like over the next few years. I like PAAS authentication quality starting this spring much more than I liked their earlier quality, so I am hopeful.

Most of all, though, Mike has been a great source of information on large quantities of forgeries coming into the market and how they are possibly being produced...like these here. He is exposing things we might not find out about for a long time, and he's generally willing to talk to our members about them, which I really welcome. Enough to overlook him wanting me dead once.

I didnt get the surrogate comment . I think I get whats going on . No problem
Mike-

What company or who is the submitters name? Batches of these items have not shown up at our offices so it would be interesting to see when/if they are submitted.

Thanks,

Steve

that  mariano is definately no good  ford is a joke!!!

The Cal Ripken is way ooff from what an authentic one looks like. the rest I am not positive

The Mattingly is no good

That Jeter actually looks good though he only signs for Steiner so I find it hard to believe that its legitimate, the Mattingly is a definite no.  The Sabathia is pretty close but there are some off spots on it including distance of letters.  The Posada looks pretty good for a fake.

All of these are fakes. CC Sabathia and Mariano are easy to tell. CC never stops,he does it all in one stroke and on this picture it's like someone paused and then continued. The second C has to much of a sharp angle. Mariano is just completely fake.

the cc looks good. I've obtained his Autograph personally many many times when he played in the minors for Akron Aero's. My opinion its spot on. My opinion none of the others look good.

Its a fake too Ray

I attached a photo of a ball I personally saw Carl Ripken Jr sign.  It was also authenticated by PSA/DNA.  The autograph on your photo has some problems and In my opinion it is a forgery.
